The WakeRad UNC REX data center in Raleigh is a Tier 2+ facility. Our emphasis on redundancy includes servers, power, HVAC and networking so mission-critical systems are available 99.99% of the time. Plus, we also have a backup data center. We monitor all technologies 7x24x365 to proactively address any issues. Security, privacy and confidentiality are forefront in our minds and we have developed policies and measures to enforce them.

Meaningful Use – Stage II

WakeRad UNC REX can help physician practices to implement HL7 electronic interfaces to their electronic health record (EHR) system for report distribution (with image links) and order entry. These interfaces will partially satisfy Measure 1 – to place at least 30% of radiology orders via a CPOE system and Measure 3 of the menu set – to accept at least 10% of radiology results (with image links) into the EHR.
